Shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. A new vaccination against shingles has been produced for all patients aged 70 or 79. To enquire whether you are eligible for this vaccine please contact the surgery.

We aim to provide disabled patients with appropiate wheelchair access to our surgery. The surgery is on ground level and there is a disabled toilet to the rear of the building which can be easily accessed. Entrance to the building and to and from the waiting room is accessed via push pad automatic doors. If you require any assistance in accessing the building please telephone the practice from outside on your arrival. If you are hard of hearing, partially or non-sighted, please inform the receptionist when making your appointment or on your arrival that you may need extra assistance. If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.
