DR BYRNE IS RETIRINGAfter 32 years in general practice, our Senior Partner Dr Harry Byrne has retired. He is looking forward to spending time with his family and grandchildren and maybe a game of golf or two!! We will be very sorry to see him leave but wish him all good wishes for the future. Dr Chris Mathieson has taken over from Dr Byrne, as Managing Partner of the surgery.
SystmOnline SystmOnline is a new functionality that provides greater flexibility to our patients. It enables patients to order repeat prescriptions, prebook appointments, cancel appointments and complete questionnaires. To register for Systmonline please email us on neashamroad.surgery@nhs.net or telephone us on 01325 461128 and request a username and password. After receiving your login details it can take up to 4 hours to activate your account, so please refrain from using the system until then. Disabled AccessWe aim to provide disabled patients with appropiate wheelchair access to our surgery. The surgery is on ground level and there is a disabled toilet to the rear of the building which can be easily accessed. Entrance to the building and to and from the waiting room is accessed via push pad automatic doors. If you require any assistance in accessing the building please telephone the practice from outside on your arrival. If you are hard of hearing, partially or non-sighted, please inform the receptionist when making your appointment or on your arrival that you may need extra assistance. If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.

Whooping Cough Vaccinations are now available from the surgery for ladies 28 weeks+ pregnant. Please telephone us on 01325 461128 to book your appointment or ask your midwife.

Measles Outbreak Due a recent outbreak of Measles within the area, we would strongly advise all patients who haven't had a Measles vaccination to contact the surgery as soon as possible to arrange an appointment. PLEASE NOTE - YOU MUST HAVE HAD 2 VACCINATIONS TO BE COVERED.
